Association Events Marsmen in Burma
We found our digital copy of Marsmen in Burma. We will begin looking for a publisher in the coming months with a goal of having copies available for the Cavalry Ball.

Association Events Cavalry Ball 2007
The 2007 Cavalry Ball is scheduled for 12 May 2007 in Waco. Time and exact location to follow soon. Mark your calendar.

Update: The Ball has been postponed until this fall. Tentative month will be October. I hope to be getting the actual date posted the first weekend of May. The May drill will now be the Squadron Change of Command Ceremony.

Association Events Cav Ball
It's looking like we won't be having a Cav Ball this year. With the bulk of the Squadron in Egypt and the rest of us trying to figure out where we'll belong after the restructuring, there just hasn't been enough interest or time to plan the event. The Squadron is due back in January so I expect we'll have a pretty big event next year.

I've noticed that a few of you have posted inquiries about rosters of units who served in Burma. I think, once I find some time, I'd like to start an online database of those who served with the Regiment in CBI. I'll look into getting that started and if someone has access to some of the rosters, I'd appreciate having a copy sent to me so I can start the data entry. This would probably be very helpful for those looking in researching their family member's wartime service.

*UPDATE*
We're postponing the ball until the spring. I'll post a date once it's finalized.
