Site Updates OK, I think I fixed the site registration problem
I believe I fixed the registration problem. You are now able to register and immediately login to the site. No activation email is necessary. Understand that registration to the site is not the same as joining the Association. Registration brings with it access to other areas of the site and the ability to post to the forums. I am still working on getting the online Association Membership Application up and running.

Site Updates Did you know
Did you know you can associate an avatar with your account? Go to the Your Account Module and click on Change Info. Scroll down to Your Avatar. Click on [List] and you will be taken to a page with a few avatars (small pictures) to choose from. Most are cavalry related, though a few other themes are featured. Run your mouse cursor over a picture you like and a small mouseover will popup with the file name. Click Go Back and choose the name of the avatar you would like. Save the changes. If you have a request for other types of avatars, contact the Webmaster with your request and an effort will be made to add the requested avatar to the list.

Site Updates Several new features
I have added several new features. Two are meant to assist you in the fight against viruses and spyware/adware. The first is a block containing three links to online virus scanning sites. The other is a link to an online spyware scanner, available in the modules menu. I have also added a block containing up to the minute headlines from DefenseLink.mil. The links do not open in a new window at this time so I would suggest right-clicking on a link and opening it in a new window if you don't want to leave this site.

Feel free to leave comments for any of these news items by clicking on the Comments link and clicking on Post Comment at the bottom of the page you are taken to.

Site Updates Forums Fixed but...
Thanks to Jimmy from advcs.org for figuring out my Forums problem. A simple change to one value in the database fixed it all. But now the memberlist isn't showing everybody that has a membership. More troubleshooting to follow.

Update: I fixed it.
